Mon histoire…
ALS is a devastating, progressive disease that attacks the nerve cells responsible for controlling movement. Over time, people living with ALS can lose the ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe—while often remaining fully aware of what is happening to their bodies. There is currently no cure, and there is still so much we don’t understand about why ALS develops and how to stop it.
That’s why research is so incredibly important. Every research study brings us closer to understanding ALS, developing better treatments, slowing progression, and ultimately finding a cure. But that progress depends on continued funding and investment in research.
ALS is a cause that is very close to my heart, which is why I’m running my first 10K on October 10 to raise money for ALS research. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps move us one step closer to a future without ALS. ❤️
