My Story…
Hi, my name is Sarah, and I am privileged to be beginning my nursing career in Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Every day, I witness and accompany patients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives as they navigate treatment and fight toward remission. This work has taught me the value of resilience and human connection while reminding me how profoundly important our health is.
Supporting stem cell research is an investment in progress—helping to open doors to new treatments, therapies, and better outcomes for patients and their families. To me, supporting this research is an act of collective care.
This October, I will be running my first-ever registered half-marathon. I wanted to make what started as a personal goal meaningful beyond myself, so I’ve joined the Stem Cell Research team with the goal of helping us raise $10,000.
If you have the means, please consider making a donation, no matter the size, or sharing this page. Every contribution helps. Thank you for your support!
