I am running in memory of my aunt, who I lost to leukemia many years ago. Her passing had a lasting impact on me and is one of the reasons I chose to pursue research in this field today. Through my work, I see firsthand how important continued funding and support are in the fight against leukemia. While progress has been made, there is still so much more to do to improve treatments and ultimately find a cure. This run is not just a personal challenge—it’s a way for me to honor my aunt’s memory and contribute to a cause that is deeply meaningful to me. I’ve set a goal of $1,000, and every donation, no matter the size, helps support life-saving research and brings us one step closer to better outcomes for patients.
