Let's support the Social Services Department: Helping Families Through Illness

I feel very fortunate to have a great hospital very close to home for when our (accident prone) kids get hurt. Thing 3 had a spell where he seemed to go to hospital often for (luckily) minor things. For many families, staying nearby while a family member receives care is a huge burden. Social Services takes a needs based approach to help families traveling to or staying near the hospital.

This year's race will be my first time toeing the line for the full marathon on the Montreal course, and what will (hopefully) be my 15th, sub 3h marathon. I broke 3h 25 years ago, and with Father Time chasing me, this might be my last chance.
