One of Townsville’s premier community events that brings people together while getting fit and healthy.

The annual McDonald’s® Townsville Running Festival incorporating the Townsville Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, 10K Fun Run, 5K Fun Run and Walk, 5K Junior Fun Run and Walk , 2.5K Hero Run , 5K Corporate Challenge.

Half Marathon Entry Sold out Quickly even though we have increase capacity from last years event- please fill in a Waiting list spot as a place holder. We will use this to allocate entries as they open up from injured runners and those who decide to go down distances at the event. This is common for this time for the year. This does NOT Guarantee you a spot and you should seriously consider your PLAN B options of either doing a 2 person Marathon Relay and sharing 42.2km with a mate or doing a faster 10km event on your own. ...Entries have been open since November 2025

  1. Full Price will be charged only when a space becomes available.

    Once on our waiting list we will help you get into any spots as they become available.o
