I've previously signed up for a position for the Bay of Fundy International Marathon. I'm filling out this form and waiver as requested.
Course Marshall
Guide runners and vehicle drivers at intersections to ensure runner safety.
Finish Area Set-up
Help set up barriers, tables, sound equipment, tents, etc. Water Street, Lubec. 5:00am - 6:00am Sunday.
Finish Area Tear-down
Help disassemble tents, tables, sound equipment, sort re-cycling, trash etc. Water Street, Lubec. 2:00pm - 3:00pm Sunday.
Recovery Area Maintenance
Assist with whatever needs doing in the Finish Area including but not limited to: picking up and sorting trash/recycling; guiding runners to bag-reclaim, medical, and shuttle buses; crowd control; etc
Start Area Management
Assist with whatever needs doing in the Start Area: banner erection and tear down, checking and re-stocking porta-potties with toilet paper and sanitizer, maintaining water station, guiding buses, answering runner questions, receiving bags at bag drop, ensuring clear passage for ultra-marathoners, trash pick-up, etc. etc.
Water Station volunteer
Handing out cups of water and Gatorade at aid stations on course. Certain water stations also require volunteers to use a pitcher to fill cups participants carry with them for the duration of the event.
