Step it Up for Science, help raise funds to provide Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) enrichment for children across Canada!

Scientists in School's classroom and community workshops provide opportunities for kids to discover the wonders of STEM, whether they are dissecting owl pellets like biologists, or building bridges like engineers. Kids are truly the scientists at the heart of every workshop, discovering, exploring, and investigating.

Help us raise $25,000 so that we can bring hands-on STEM workshops to children in every corner of Canada.

Scientists in School believes that every child in Canada should have access to high quality hands-on STEM learning activities. Your donation to Scientists in School will help us make that a reality. 

Together, we can reach children in urban, rural, and remote communities from Salt Spring Island, BC to Pond Inlet, NU, to Fogo Island, NL -- and everywhere in between.  

What can your donation do?

• Make sure every child gets to participate in hands-on scientific exploration by purchasing materials, such as sterilized owl pellets, magnifiers, pipettes, seeds, and copper tape
• Provide consistent, high-quality experiences through extensive presenter training and mentorship and regular quality assurance visits
• Ensure children everywhere in Canada have access to hands-on STEM learning by providing free workshops to schools and community groups in under-served areas
• Meet the changing needs of children and educators through the development of new, curriculum-aligned workshop topics
