Welcome to Ontario International Airport’s 4th annual 5K at the Runway!
Spend Valentine's Day with us this year! Running parallel to the breathtaking San Gabriel Mountains and within sight of Mount Baldy itself, the ONT airfield is a low-lying and flat area that’s just perfect for a 5K run. This three-lap course on the south side of the airfield will be fast and fun — just like our airport experience.
Bring your +1, your special someone for this year's event! We've got group rates, too, if you'd rather plan a Galentine's outing. Or feel free to come solo! Love will surely be in the air...
A portion of proceeds from this event will help support our USO, which is the 3rd largest USO in the country and processes thousands of service members each year. Donations outside of your registration are highly encouraged.
Just like last year, we’ll have an event or activity for everyone! After the run, there’s a fun Family Walk, while the whole community is invited to our free Community Event starting at 9 a.m. in the National Guard Hangar. The hangar has been used for everything from filming to swanky mixer events. During this event, it’ll be transformed into a space for our community to learn about the people who run the airport, meet the ONT Paw Squad, indulge at food trucks, enjoy kid’s activities and so much more. Invite the whole family for a day of fun and get to know the community that supports Ontario International Airport!
Event Times:
- 8 a.m. – 5K (3.1 miles)
- 9:30 a.m. – Family Walk (1 mile)
- 9 to 11 a.m. – Community Event in the National Guard Hangar (free to the public, no registration required)
Packet Pick-Up Date & Times:
- February 13th – 3 to 7 p.m.
- February 14th (Day of Event) – 6:30 a.m.

The race starts at 8 a.m. and runners must begin the race no later than 8:30 a.m. Registration includes one event T-shirt, a medal and one free drink at the Brewery X Biergarten (21+ only; must present ID at biergarten entrance). Listed cost is per person, including Race Roster fees. Medals are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
