GENERAL QUESTIONS
- What activities will the event include?
- The event includes a 5K, a Family Walk and a FREE Community Event.
- What are the differences between events?
- The 5K is five kilometers (3.1 miles), which is three laps of the course. The Family Walk is one mile and one lap of the course.
- What is the date and time of the event?
- The event is on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The day kicks off at 8 a.m. with the 5K, followed by the Family Walk at 9:30 a.m. The Community Event runs from 9 to 11 a.m.
- Where is the event located?
- The event is located on the south side of the airport at 2180 E. Avion St., Ontario, CA 91761.
- What does the Community Event entail?
- Booths sharing airport and partner information!
- Airplanes on display!
- Food trucks with food and drink for purchase!
- ONT Paw Squad, kid's activities and more!
- When does registration close?
- Registration will be available on the day of the race if we haven't sold out by then. But we anticipate selling out in advance, as we have in the past, so we highly recommend registering as soon as you can!
- Does everyone receive a medal?
- Medals are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Individual pricing is as follows. Team rates will be $5 lower for each registration. Note: These prices do not include Race Roster fees.

- When does Early Bird Pricing end?
- Early Bird Pricing ends on December 13th. Prices will increase by $5 after that.
- Is there an age limit for the race?
- There’s no age minimum, but anyone walking or running (i.e. not in a stroller) needs to be registered.
- Is there a military or veteran discount?
- Yes, there is! Active military and veterans are eligible for a 50% discount on their registration. Make sure to present your military ID at packet pick-up. Use promo code “THANKYOU” at registration check-out.
- Is there a group rate?
- Yes, it is $5 off each registration. Be sure to register as part of a team of at least 10 people to receive the discounted rate.

- I'm unable to make it. Can I get a refund?
- While refunds aren't available, you can request to transfer your registration ticket to another person as long as the request is made two weeks before the 5K, or by January 31st at 11:59 p.m. PST. You'll need to email 5K@flyOntario.com with your confirmation number so that we can process the transfer. Thank you!
EVENT QUESTIONS
- Where and when can I pick up my race packet?
- Packet pick-up is available the day before the event, on February 13th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the event site at 2180 E. Avion St., Ontario, CA 91761.
- Same-day packet pick-up on February 14th will start at 6:30 a.m. in the same place.
- Photo ID will be required for packet pick-up.
- More information will be coming by email the week of the event.
- Can I pick up someone else’s packet for them?
- Only with a copy or picture of their photo ID.
- Where is parking?
- Parking is free.
- The event is located at 2180 E. Avion St., Ontario, CA 91761. Parking Lot 1 is directly across the street from the event entrance. Please follow signage for designated parking areas.
- Once Parking Lot 1 is full, the parking attendants will open Parking Lot 2, located a couple blocks away at 1923 E. Avion St., Ontario, CA 91761. We will have a shuttle available to pick up and drop off participants from the parking lot to the event entrance. Please follow the parking attendants' directions.
- ADA Parking is available in the same lot as the event entrance. You'll want to pull up to the gate entrance, then you'll be able to park inside the gate.
- Will food and drinks be available?
- Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
- A Brewery X Biergarten will also be selling drinks for attendees over 21.
- Can my pets come with me?
- Unfortunately, no pets will be allowed.
- Will there be water tables along the course?
- Yes.
- Can I use a stroller, wheelchair, etc. on the course?
- Yes!
- Can I dress up?
- Yes, it's encouraged! Either dress with your team or your family. We encourage you to have fun! Just avoid wearing inflatables, using full face masks, carrying large objects or bringing other potentially hazardous gear. If you have questions about whether or not your outfit is allowed, please email 5K@flyOntario.com.
- Is there a time limit to how long I can be on the course?
- For the 8 a.m. 5K, you must have begun the race by 8:30 a.m.
- For the 9:30 a.m. Family Walk, the latest you can begin the walk is 10 a.m.
- You must be off the course by 11 a.m.
SAFETY
- Will the event still happen if it rains?
- This event happens rain or shine!
- If winds reach 50 mph, we'll send out a very sad cancellation email.
- Will emergency crews be on site?
- Yes, absolutely.
- Will there be anywhere to put my bag?
- NO. You are responsible for your items.
- Keep in mind no unattended bags are allowed at an airport. Plan accordingly.
