The Elizabeth 8K Road Race thrives not only due to its participants but also because of the dedication and support of neighborhood volunteers who contribute to this incredible community event. Be a part of the excitement on race day! By joining the Elizabeth 8K volunteer team, you'll help runners, spectators, and staff in various areas such as the start and finish lines, registration, course monitoring, and water stations. Most importantly, your energy and enthusiasm will inspire the runners to reach the finish line! As a token of our appreciation, all volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and free coffee from our amazing sponsor, Summit Coffee.
| Volunteer Opportunities The Early Bird Brigade (5 volunteers) arrives early to flex their muscle and help prepare for the event in order to ensure a seamless experience for all.
Check-in Champions (5 volunteers) assist with race registration, distribute race bibs and shirts, and provide friendly support to runners
Eco Warriors (20+ volunteers) keep our race clean and green through ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
Route Guardians (14+ volunteers) ensure runner safety, provide directional guidance, and offer enthusiastic support along the route.
Water Warriors (15+ volunteers) provide essential hydration, support, and encouragement to runners while ensuring a smooth race experience.
Post-Race Cleanup Crew (5 volunteers) helps restore the event area, ensuring a tidy and eco-friendly space after race celebrations conclude.
