Castle Alpine Trail Race Update

There is no big news or changes to report on for CAT. It's just shaping up to be a fun, fast, festive fall race. The last two years we faced course changes due to events outside of our control, but we are back to the original course. Right now the weather looks perfect... but we live in the Rockies and we are right on the Continental Divide, which means the weather can be tumultuous at the best of times. We will go ahead, rain or shine... or maybe even snowstorm.
September 19 is shaping up to be a pretty good day at Castle Mountain Resort. CAT hits the trails starting at 9 AM, and then from 1–5:30 PM, Castle Mountain Resort is hosting Brews in the Base, an afternoon of Alberta craft beer, cider, spirits, RTDs, live music, local vendors and more.
And yes… Pass Beer Co will be there (they sponsor your post-race beer)! Whether you’re racing, cheering, exploring the mountain, or simply showing up for the important post-run activities, there’s something happening at Castle Mountain Resort all day.
While dinner is at around 5:00 PM that day, we do not leave anyone behind! Even if you are the last one on the course, the arch will be standing, and someone will be here, waiting for you to come in. You get a meal with your registration, and you can order extras for family and friends here:
