Join us August 23, 2026, which happens to be just days after the five year Cancer-versary date of Michelle, My Journey to Just Live's, diagnosis with Stage 4 Incurable Cancer. Michelle was diagnosed in 2021 with an ultra rare Sarcoma cancer called Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma, EHE for short. Michelle has innumerable tumours throughout her body and has made it her mission to chase joy and Just Live!
She started running in January 2022, 5 months postpartum, and 4 months post diagnosis; she never had run before. Her goal was to set herself up for success, and was hopeful for the best possible outcome to tackle this bleak cancer diagnosis. Michelle has run in countless running events, even half marathons, including one in London, England raising funds for EHE UK Charity. Michelle, with the support of her husband Ty, challenged herself in 2024, and became a triathlete. You can see Michelle's latest documentary, "The Journey Home," where she completed a 126km personal triathlon and took us on a personal journey to redefine a day that a rare sarcoma cancer once stolen from her. Each year just gets better and better!
As we rally in support of those affected by EHE cancer, the Just Live Fun Run is an opportunity to meet your body where its at with a personal healthy living goal, choosing hard and chasing joy. With community and movement at the heart of this unique day, it is a time to step up, show support and celebrate together!
The in-person 5km Run and 10km Run will be chip timed. Timing services provided by Atlantic Chip Sport Timing. This year’s route will be the same as 2025, with the start and finish ending at the Cornwall Civic Center.
Fun Facts:
In-Person event has four options: 1k walk/run, 5k walk, 5k run, and 10k run
In-person participant event shirts ARE included in the 5km and 10km events
VIRTUAL RACE KITS can be shipped ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!

The 1km race is a celebration where you can walk, skip, jog, or run to the finish line, with a Just Live medal waiting for you no matter how you cross it! Everyone is welcome, including strollers, wheelchairs, and kids—though only registered service dogs are allowed for our furry friends. This event isn't timed. All 1km race participants must register, except children in strollers for the entire race duration. Registration includes: Participant Bib, Just Live Finisher Medal, Hydration and Nutrition Please note: Participant event shirts are NOT INCLUDED. You can purchase a shirt with your registration!

The 5k WALK, offers an out-and-back route suitable for all abilities, from speed walkers to mall walkers! It's the perfect opportunity to join others and choose YOUR pace. There's no minimum age to participate in the 5 km walk event. All participants must be registered, except for children in strollers for the entire duration of the race. The Participant shirt is included in the registration for the 5k walk, 5k run, 10k run! If you're participating in the 1k, don't worry—you still have the option to purchase a Just Live participant event shirt! And for virtual participants, you can choose shirt/no shirt with your registration.

Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada is Canada’s national organization dedicated to providing patient support and education while working with Canada’s leading researchers to eradicate the disease.
People around the world know the story of Canadian icon Terry Fox, who ran across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Fewer know, however, that the disease which claimed Fox’s leg -- and later, after his heroic efforts, his life -- was osteosarcoma, a form of sarcoma cancer of the bones. Even more importantly, since Fox lost his battle with cancer in 1981, much progress has been made in treating and curing this insidious disease.
The SCFC was founded in 2010 in memory of Vera Arajs and other Canadians who have lost their lives to Sarcoma cancers. It is a volunteer-run national organization supporting patients and their families, while working with Canada's leading research institutions in their efforts to eradicate Sarcoma cancers.
NEW in 2026: All donations from US participants will be donated to the EHE Foundation by Just Live Events, Inc.
The EHE Foundation is the leading global nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE), an ultra-rare vascular cancer.
We connect people affected by EHE with the global experts who study and treat this disease, united in a shared mission to unlock answers and discover effective treatments. By funding groundbreaking research and equipping patients with education and resources, we’re building a research-ready community poised for progress.
With no standard treatment for EHE, the needs of this community are urgent—we’re here to replace fear with knowledge, isolation with connection, and uncertainty with hope.
Family Fun Zone
The Family Fun zone is back and will kick off following the 1km Walk/Run. The Family Fun Zone includes Face Painting, Bouncy Castles and more!
Strollers are welcome at all events. Please note, there will not be any dogs permitted (aside from service dogs) at the Fun Run or Family Fun Zone.
