Event Cancellation Notice
It is with disappointment that we must share that the 2026 Jordan's Run the Runway Chatham-Kent event has been cancelled.
Despite the incredible support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, registration numbers did not reach the level required to deliver the event successfully this year.
All registered participants have been contacted directly.
We know many of you were looking forward to joining us on the runway and supporting children, youth, and families across our community. We are sincerely grateful for your understanding and for your continued support of the Chatham-Kent YMCA.

Course Description
This is a flat and fast certified 5K, chip timed event. You can run, walk, roll or stroll!
Course will begin and end on the Runway of the Chatham-Kent Municipal Airport.

About Jordan
Jordan Strickland inspired "Jordan's Run the Runway" 5K run and walk series. For the second time, Jordan's Run the Runway is coming to the Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport! All funds raised will stay local to the Sarnia-Lambton community, and support access to YMCA camps, programs, and services.
"Jordan loved new adventures, and he was not afraid to try anything. One of the things he loved most in life was going to the YMCA Camp Queen Elizabeth on Beausoleil Island, where he attended many summers as a camper, and nine years as a volunteer counsellor.
Jordan would be turning 40 this year, and we are so grateful for the many friends he met over the years, and who he introduced to us. Thank you so much for Running the Runway to remember our amazing Jordan, and also for his CQE and Siskinds families and friends."
