Run together. Fundraise together. Go further together.
Everything’s better with a team! Rally your friends, family, coworkers, or run club and take on the race side by side while fundraising together to reach an even bigger goal.
How teams work
Teams must consist of a minimum of 3 Team Members.
Each Team must be created under one race distance, 5k or 10k.
Companies and groups are welcome to register multiple teams, as long as each team sticks to a single distance.
When the first team member registers, select “Create New Team.” Everyone else just chooses that team when they sign up.
If you have any issues creating or joining a team, we’re happy to help, just email apaul@vbhil.gov.
So grab your people, pick your distance, and make race day a team win 🏃♀️🏃♂️💪

Who We Are, How We Serve
The Cuba Township Food Pantry provides local residents in need with an opportunity to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, and bakery products for free. The monetary, food and household products donated by local residents, businesses, and organizations are made to the Cuba Cares Fund, a 501c3. Monetary funds are used for Cuba Cares to purchase grocery gift cards for monthly distribution to recipients, as well as purchasing staples including eggs, milk, and butter each week.
The Cuba Cares Fund partners with local grocers, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, and the Diaper Bank Partnership of Lake County for products.
The Food Pantry is overseen by a Township Food Pantry Coordinator and run primarily by a dozen dedicated volunteers who sort products, determine weekly distributions and assist residents with their weekly shopping.
Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission. To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled Military and First Responders.
Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and platinum on Guide Star, that provides educational scholarships to the families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled while on active duty in the United States armed forces.
Our educational scholarships support private education tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents.
Founded in 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney, a PGA Professional and F-16 fighter pilot in the Air Force Reserves who served three tours of duty in Iraq, Folds of Honor is proud to have awarded approximately 35,000 scholarships in all 50 states and some US territories, including over 5,700 in 2021 alone.
