Canceled due to weather: NTX Brain Injury Awareness Walk - Synapse Laps

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Synapse Laps Walk on Saturday morning. The event starts at 8:30 am.

We are all wondering what the weather will do. Well, this is Texas, ya'll, so it could change on a moment's notice.

We plan that the event will be held rain or shine (shine is preferred!) If the weather is stormy or categorized as "inclement weather," we will cancel.

Please save this page and watch for updates. We will update as often as we can. If we must cancel, we will schedule a virtual event to bring us all together.

Join BIN and our partners in the community for the Annual North Texas Brain Injury Awareness Walk (Synapse Laps). All proceeds benefit Brain Injury Network clubhouse programs to support the continued recovery of adult survivors of acquired brain injury.

Registration is $25 per person. Children 12 and under are free.

Event Schedule:

7:45 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. Exhibitors check in at the Volunteer Area and set up.
8:30 a.m. - The Event opens, and participants can begin checking in.
9:20 a.m. - Walk Begins (There are two routes - see maps attached.)
10:15 a.m. - Awards and closing ceremony begin at the stage.
11:00 am - Event Ends

We welcome exhibitors to share your resources and information with our participants.

$500 for Exhibit Booth ((ncludes promotion on this website and social media)

$200 for non-profit organizations wishing to participate.
