Synapse Laps 2026 - North Texas Brain Injury Awareness Walk on April 18th

Synapse Laps - The North Texas Brain Injury Awareness Walk is back on April 18, 2026, at Toyota Music Factory in Las Colinas. The Walk & Roll event features two walking courses for participants of all abilities.
Key Details of Synapse Laps:
- Purpose: Raise funds for the Brain Injury Network's brain injury clubhouse programs, BIND in Plano and BINDFW in Fort Worth, to support adult survivors of acquired brain injuries in DFW. Brain Injury Network is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit
- Location: Toyota Music Factory, Irving, TX, in the pavilion area.
- When: The 2026 event is Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Volunteer check-in is at 7:30 am.
- Activities: The event typically includes a walk/run/roll, music, and community connections with representatives from nonprofits, healthcare companies, and community resources serving brain injury survivors and their families.
- Registration: $25 for participants 13 and over.
Event Schedule:
7:30 a.m. - Volunteer Check-in
7:45 a.m. - 8:20 a.m. Exhibitors check in at the Volunteer Area and set up.
8:30 a.m. - The Event opens, and participants can begin checking in.
9:20 a.m. - Walk Begins (There are two routes - see maps attached.)
10:15 a.m. - Awards and closing ceremony begin at the stage.
11:00 am - Event ends and load out
Dress Code:
Dress comfortably and wear your school or company shirt if available.
Sunscreen and comfortable shoes are recommended.
