Mikey's Legacy Foundation

In the Fall of 2025, Mikey’s Legacy Foundation was incorporated as a BC society with purposes to support other registered charities. The Foundation submitted an application for charitable registration, but it has not yet received confirmation of charitable registration from Canada Revenue Agency.

Mikey’s Legacy Foundation can still accept cash gifts before it obtains charitable registration which will be used in furtherance of its purposes, but until the Foundation becomes a registered charity it is not able to provide official donation receipts for gifts made to it. If Mikey’s Legacy Foundation becomes a registered charity, it intends to issue official donation receipts, if requested by the donor, for all eligible cash gifts in excess of $100.00 received in 2026 to the extent permitted by applicable laws and CRA policy.
