Run for Life 2026

1. Register online for Run for Life 2026.

2. Choose where and how to participate anywhere, anytime. Run, walk, hike, bike, yoga, pickleball, attend a fitness class at the gym - any movement that inspires you!

3. Complete any physical activity, anywhere, anytime between Sunday, Sept. 6, and midnight on Sunday, Sept. 13, or join us in-person at the Calgary signature event. Remember to snap a photo once you’ve finished and share using #RunforLife2026 and tagging @cspyyc!

4. Join us on social media @cspyyc on Sunday, Sept. 6 for a welcome video and on Sunday, Sept. 13 for the Run for Life 2026 commemoration video (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X).

Run for Life Calgary signature event - NEW LOCATION

North Glenmore Park, beginning at the Weaselhead parking lot

Sunday, Sept 13, 2026

9 am – 12 pm MT

Join us at our new location this year - North Glenmore Park, beginning at the Weasealhead parking lot, running eastward atop the scenic ridge. This is a pop-up gathering spot to connect with other Run for Life participants for walking, running, commemoration and conversation. Bring your furry team members for a tasty dog treat, too! Everyone is welcome!

Details:

• 9:15 AM: Join us at the Welcome Tent for some opening words and a warm-up stretch
• 9:30 AM: 1K Memorial Walk begins from the Welcome Tent
• 9:45 Casual 5K will kick off at the end of Memorial Walk

Enjoy complimentary water and post-run snacks. Bring your dog for a tasty treat, too!

Commemorate a loved one

If you’ve lost a loved one to suicide, send their name and photo to runforlife@suicideinfo.ca or when you register by Saturday, Aug. 22nd so we can commemorate them in an event video.

• Let people know you’re participating by sharing a photo or message of hope on social media using #RunforLife2026.
• Stay tuned to our social channels @cspyyc where we’ll release event videos and share participation throughout Run for Life week.
• Access our social media kit for materials to share or create your own!

*Race Day Pick Up Days* Race kits purchased by participants in Calgary will be available for pick-up on Monday, August 24th and Tuesday, August 25th in the lobby of our Calgary office: The Kahanoff Centre for Charitable Activities (105 12 Ave SE, Calgary AB, T2G 1A1)

*Race Day Pick Up - Calgary Pop-Up only* If you are attending our Calgary Pop-up and can't make it to one of our office pick-up days your race kit will be available for pick up at the Calgary Pop-Up event on Sunday, Sept. 13th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at North Glenmore Park - Weaselhead parking lot.
