Course Marshals

Course Marshals play a key role in supporting participant flow, helping runners and walkers stay on course, and bringing energy to different points along the route. You’ll be part of creating a safe, encouraging and well-organised course experience.

Drink Station Attendants

Drink Station Attendants help keep participants hydrated, supported and moving. This is a great role for volunteers who enjoy a high-energy environment and want to cheer on runners and walkers as they make their way through the course.

Volunteer roles

Role details

Course Marshals

Course Marshals support participant movement on course, help guide runners and walkers, and provide encouragement at key points along the route.

Drink Station Attendants

Drink Station Attendants help set up and support the drink station, hand out drinks to participants and keep the area clean, safe and positive.

Who can volunteer?

Volunteer opportunities are open to La Trobe students, La Trobe staff and members of the wider community who want to support the event.
