Our story…
Team That's Your Pedo!
Since 2017, Team That's Your Pedo! has participated in the Homeboy Industries 5K in memory of our brother Freddy.
The team name comes from Freddy's legendary catchphrase, “That’s your pedo!” which he delivered with perfect timing, humor, and a smile. Over the years, it has become much more than a phrase. It has become a reminder to face life's challenges with honesty, resilience, and laughter.
This year marks our 9th year participating in the Homeboy Industries 5K.
We walk and run to honor Freddy's memory and support the mission of Homeboy Industries, which provides hope, healing, education, job training, mental health services, tattoo removal, legal support, and community for people rebuilding their lives.
Our team believes in second chances, human dignity, and the idea that people are more than the worst thing they've ever done.
Every step we take honors those we love and supports those working toward a brighter future.
