Callahan, and a team of family and friends will hit the road for the Family Ride. At just two years old, Callahan may be the team's youngest participant, but he's already established himself as management. From the comfort of his bike trailer, he'll be responsible for route navigation, snack quality control, and ensuring Mom maintains an acceptable pace. Their family's connection to local healthcare is personal, as Callahan was born at a Brightshores hospital and his dad is the Markdale Foundation's Executive Director. They're riding to support healthcare close to home, celebrate the power of community, and enjoy a fun day together for a great cause. Callahan has been clear that he expects full credit for the ride despite contributing approximately zero watts of power.
