Volunteer for the Grey Highlands Gran Fondo!
Call for Volunteers – Grey Highlands Gran Fondo
The Grey Highlands Gran Fondo is returning on September 6, and we are looking for enthusiastic community members to help make this year’s ride a success.
Hosted in support of the Markdale Hospital Foundation, the Gran Fondo brings riders of all ages and abilities together for a day that celebrates community, cycling, and local healthcare. Behind every great ride is a strong volunteer team — and we would love to have you join us.
Volunteer Roles Include:
Route marshals: Provide wayfinding support for our riders on one of our five routes.
Registration and rider check-in: Welcome over 200 riders to the event and ensure they have everything they need for a successful ride and event day.
Rest stop support: Assist with managing one of our four rest stops. Ensure riders have all the snacks and water they need to finish their rides.
Start/finish line assistance: Help ensure everything runs smoothly for both the start times and or the post-ride lunch.
Set-up and tear-down crews: Come early to help set up the event, or come at the end of the day to help with clean up.
