Help Eisley raise money

I’ll be participating in the Ned’s Wish Heroes Run 2026 this October as part of the Off Duty Dawgs team, raising funds for Ned’s Wish in support of retired police and military dogs across Canada.

As a first responder, I’ve always had a tremendous amount of respect for these dogs and the work they do. Working with police dogs regularly, I’m constantly amazed by their intelligence, courage and dedication. What stands out to me most is the bond and trust between a police dog and their handler - it’s something truly special to witness firsthand.

After years spent serving and protecting their communities, these dogs deserve the chance to enjoy the retirement they’ve earned. Ned’s Wish helps ease the financial burden of caring for them as they age by helping cover veterinary and healthcare costs, while also raising awareness about the importance of caring for retired police and military dogs.

This year’s run honours RCMP Police Dog Bandit, who was killed in the line of duty while serving his community with his handler, Cpl. Rick Mosher, in 2000. Being able to honour Bandit’s sacrifice while helping support retired police and military dogs makes participating in this event especially meaningful to me.
