Help Theodore raise money

This October, I’m so excited to be taking part in the Ned’s Wish Heroes Run with my sister!! As siblings and first responders, this is such a fitting cause for us to support together, and we’re really looking forward to being part of it!

Ned’s Wish supports retired police and military service dogs across Canada by helping with veterinary care and other health-related costs after their years of service. These dogs and their handlers do incredibly important work in our communities, often in demanding and dangerous situations, and it’s great to be able to support the dogs once their working years are over.

Dogs have always been a big part of our family too. Our family bulldog, Chief, passed away in August 2023, so being able to support an organization that cares for dogs after years of service makes the cause even more meaningful to us.

This year’s Heroes Run honours RCMP Police Dog Bandit, who was killed in the line of duty in 2000 while serving alongside his handler, Cpl. Rick Mosher. It’s a great opportunity to honour Bandit and recognize the dedication of police dogs and their handlers while helping support retired service dogs across Canada.

My sister and I are fundraising together as Off Duty Dawgs, with a team goal of $300. If you’d like to donate, we’d really appreciate the support, but there’s absolutely no pressure at all! Sharing the page or just cheering us on means a lot too!

Thank you!
