My Story…
This year I am once again competing in the Multi Grouse Grind Challenge and fundraising for North Shore Rescue. I will be attempting to achieve my ultimate goal of 19+ Grinds in 19 hours.
In September 2024, I was involved in a serious scrambling accident on the East Lion and was airlifted off the mountain by North Shore Rescue. Due to ongoing post-concussion symptoms, I came up just one short of my goal last year with 18 Grinds. I am very fortunate to be feeling back to normal this year.
I would ask that you please consider donating any amount to North Shore Rescue. I have first-hand experience of how tirelessly these volunteers work to keep our mountains safe, and I am very thankful that they came to my aid. They do not charge for rescues and rely on donations for their operations. Thank you for the support!
