The 20th annual Platte River 5K is sponsored by the Royalton High School Cross Country and Track and Field team. The event kicks off activities for the annual Platte River Day hosted by the Royalton Lions Club. Also available is a Child's Fun 1K Run (FREE) and a K-9 Walk/Run for dogs and owners. All children completing the 1K will receive a prize.
*Please note, in order to guarantee a 5K race T-shirt, please register prior to Friday, July 10, 2026.

Race starts and finishes at Royalton Elementary School, winding through downtown Royalton along the Platte River.

Owners and dogs must start at the back of the race pack. Dog owners must clean up after pets. Each dog will receive a treat at the finish line.
