Our story…

Team Wandering Wings is walking together in our 6th annual Butterfly Run.

Our first Butterfly Run was a virtual gathering during Covid, shortly after we had our first miscarriage in 2020. We were heartbroken and isolated, looking for community and purpose in our sadness.

We have spent the past 6 years trying to grow our family and there were days where the grief seemed too much to hold. We added 3 more butterfly babies along the way, and with the addition of our beautiful Molly in April, our family is now complete.

We are very proud of how we weathered difficult times and grew stronger as a family through it.

While it has often felt like luck is not on our side, we recognize how lucky we are to have the love and support of family and friends, as well as BC Women’s Hospital, their foundation and their resources.

Support us as we walk for Benny, Jude, and our two other butterfly babies.
