2026 Run4Sudan Calgary

Get ready for Calgary's first ever Run for Sudan! In partnership with Sadagaat-Canada and IDRF to support emergency appeal efforts in Sudan. We hope you'll join us in showing solidarity for Sudan.

Everyone is welcome! Walk, jog, run, or stay for the fun!

ALL ENTRY PACKAGES INCLUDE:

Participants will enjoy a community-centred experience including activities, food, and prizes from a variety of local vendors.

CHOOSE YOUR RACE:

Participants will be able to choose between a 5K Run, 1K Walk, and Kids Race.

GETTING TO THE RACE:

The race will take place at RiverWalk Plaza in East Village. We recommend arriving early and carpooling and/or taking transit where possible.

There are a couple ways to enter the RiverWalk Plaza:

1. Confluence Way SE by Bow Cycle East Village
2. Southside of George C. King Bridge
3. BowRiver Pathway past the Simmons Building

There is street parking available nearby (Riverfront Ave SE or 6 Ave SE). As well as parking lots such as the Riverwalk Parkade, Lot 74 (656 Confluence Way S.E.) and Lot 55 (724 4 St. SE).

Please practice safe driving and parking practices, complying to all City of Calgary Bylaws.
