POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026: RULES & REGULATIONS
- The Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these Rules and Regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organiser will consider the interests of all the affected Participants.
- The Organiser reserves the right to prevent a participant's continuation in the run should they fail to comply with the rules and regulations.
- Any disputes arising from participation in the POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 shall be referred to Arbitration to be conducted in Malaysia within the Laws of Malaysia.
- In response to future decisions from Malaysia authorities (if any) or in any unforeseen circumstances, The Organiser has the right to postponed POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 to other date that will be announced later.
POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026: REGISTRATION
- The Organiser shall not be responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete entry details.
- All entries are based on a first-come first-serve basis unless otherwise stated.
- The POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 is open to all Malaysian citizen who holds a valid Malaysian Passport and/or Malaysian IC; foreign nationals with residence pass or working permit; and international runners with valid passport.
- Age qualification is taken as of 31st December 2025.
- Runners aged below 18 must be accompanied and/or get permission from parent who will also be fully responsible for the children’s participation. Parent/guardian who wish to accompany must register for the event.
- Once the registration is completed and payment has been made, entry fees for those who for whatever reason (s) do not take part in the event are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NONREFUNDABLE AND NON-DEFERRABLE.
- The run entry is non-transferable to unregistered runners. Those who are discovered to participate with an unauthorized run number will be disqualified.
- Upon confirmation of participation, change to the category or other details will not be entertained. Any change of category requires a new registration.
- The Organiser reserves the right to limit, accept or reject any entries without prior notice and reasons.
- The Organiser reserves the right to close entries before deadline without any notice or when the quota of a run / start is full.
- Completion of the registration form is an indication of the participant's agreement to abide by the rules and regulations of the POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026.
- Participants must agree to receive contact from the event Organiser from time to time by email/SMS blast. Any notice sent by email from The Organiser or the party assigned by the Organiser to the supplied address on the registration form shall be assumed received by the Participant.
- Super Early Bird promotion is exclusively for 28 April 2026 – 31 May 2026.
- Early Bird promotion period starting 01 June 2026 – 30 June 2026.
- Normal fees 01 July 2026 – 20 September 2026.
- No entries will be entertained after the date of 20 September 2026.

POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026: RUNNER’S ENTITLEMENT
- Each POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 participant is entitled to receive one (1) official event T‑shirt, one (1) bib number, and any other items as listed under the respective category entitlement.
- All running kits will be distributed prior to the event day, either via delivery or self‑collection, and may be dispatched in batches depending on the participant’s registration date.
- CHANGES TO RUNNING CATEGORY AND EVENT T‑SHIRT SIZES ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED, either before or on the event day. Participants must adhere to the T‑shirt size and category selected at the point of registration.
- Running kit postage costs and Personal Accident (PA) insurance are included in the published registration fees for all registered participants.
- There will be no running kit collection counter available on the event day. No running kits will be issued or entertained during the event day under any circumstances.
- All participants of POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 are required to select their preferred running kit collection method during registration, either via DELIVERY TO THE REGISTERED ADDRESS or SELF‑COLLECTION AT THE SELECTED GENERAL POST OFFICE / POST OFFICE. The collection dates and further details will be announced in November 2026 or earlier via Pos Malaysia’s official social media platforms.
- Participants who opt for running kit DELIVERY MUST PROVIDE A COMPLETE AND ACCURATE HOME OR OFFICE ADDRESS TOGETHER WITH A VALID CONTACT NUMBER at the point of registration. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any delay, failed delivery, or non‑receipt of the running kit arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided.
- In the event of a failed delivery attempt due to reasons including but not limited to incomplete or incorrect address details, unsuccessful contact, recipient unavailability, restricted access locations, or refusal to accept delivery, the Organiser shall not be held responsible for any delay, failed delivery, or non‑receipt of the running kit.
- Where re‑delivery is not feasible, any running kit that is not collected before the event day will be retained for post‑event collection only. Participants must contact the Organiser to arrange collection and complete the COLLECTION WITHIN TWO (2) WEEKS AFTER THE EVENT DATE. Failure to do so will result in the running kit being deemed unclaimed, and the Organiser reserves the right to dispose of or redistribute the items at its discretion.
- The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the appropriate course of action following any failed delivery attempt.
POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026: DURING EVENT DAY
- It is compulsory for the POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 participants to display their running bib number at all times during the run. Failure to comply will result in the participants' disqualification from the run.
- All participants are encouraged to wear the POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 official running tee during the event day.
- POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 participants must run on the designated path for the entire route. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Any changes to the POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 event route, whether planned or arising from unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, safety or security concerns, road closures, instructions from authorities, public emergencies, or unforeseen operational constraints shall be subject to the approval and directions of the relevant authorities. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, disruption, or loss arising from such changes.
- All POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 event distances is measured, verified, and officially sanctioned by the Federation of Kuala Lumpur Athletics Associations (FTKLAA). Distances certified by FTKLAA shall be deemed final, and no appeals or claims shall be entertained in relation to the certified distances.
- In the event of an emergency or any situation posing an immediate risk to the safety of Participants, officials, volunteers, or the public; including extreme weather, security threats, accidents, medical emergencies, or directives from the relevant authorities, the Organiser reserves the right to implement immediate route changes without prior notice, upon advice or direction from the Federation of Kuala Lumpur Athletics Associations (FTKLAA) and/or the relevant authorities. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, disruption, or loss arising from such emergency route changes.
- POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026 participants who take part are required to keep to the left side of the lane so as not to cause obstruction to other walkers.
- No pets or any form of wheel-run objects of transport (e.g. inline skates, prams, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers) are not allowed on the course other than official run and medical vehicles.
- Sweeper vehicles will be deployed to pick up Participants who are unable to complete the race within the stipulated cut‑off time for their respective categories. Participants shall board the sweeper vehicles when and where directed by the on‑duty marshals and/or relevant authorities for safety and event management purposes.
- The Organiser shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, casualty, or death suffered by Participants, their dependants (including children), or their personal belongings at any time before, during, or after the Event.
- Whilst the Organiser will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of Participants, including acting upon advice and guidelines issued by the Federation of Kuala Lumpur Athletics Associations (FTKLAA) where applicable, participation in the Event is at the Participants’ own risk. The Organiser, its sponsors, appointed officials, agents, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any death, injury, loss, or damage suffered by Participants, howsoever caused or arising from participation in the Event.
- The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the run to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself / herself.
- The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or change the date and/or venue of the Event at its sole discretion. In the event that the Event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather conditions, public health emergencies, security threats, government or authority directives, natural disasters, industrial action, or any other force majeure events, no refunds shall be provided.
- The Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the run in the event of inclement weather or any form. Should the mentioned persist after the delay, deemed to be unsafe or impossible to proceed, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the run without any refunds of fees or donations paid unless the Organiser have considerations to give a refund and The Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.
- The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
POS MALAYSIA RUN 2026: BE A RESPONSIBLE RUNNER!
- All participants must be in good health and physical condition to take part in the run.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their children are medically fit and healthy before participating in the run.
- The organiser shall not be held liable for any pre-existing medical conditions or illnesses arising during or after the event.
