My Story…
My name is Nick Maeder, and this year I’m taking on the Kahnawake Meltdown Ultramarathon, a backyard ultra that will test my physical and mental limits one loop at a time. I’m running in support of the Tetewatatia’takéhnhahs (Purple Ribbon Walk), an initiative that helps individuals and families affected by cancer. This cause is deeply personal to me. In 2014, I lost my father to pancreatic cancer. Like so many families, ours experienced the heartbreak, challenges, and lasting impact that cancer leaves behind. By taking on this race, I hope to honour my dad’s memory while helping raise funds to support others who are facing similar battles today. Thank you for your support. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference. Nick Maeder
