Come and enjoy this fun, coffee-themed run @ The scenic Case Creek Trails overlooking Case Creek Valley on Sunday, Oct 4th! After the sun rises at 8:30 a.m. you`ll embark on a breathtaking route through pastures and woodlands throughout the beautiful Case Creek Valley!
In partnership with to be determined, each participant gets a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate after the run / walk. There will be multiple aid stations on the course, but the VANILLA ICED COFFEE station is bound to be your favorite! You probably won't mind the donuts at the nutrition table either!
Your participation means more than just a great workout; it supports The Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter through QC PAWS, directly aiding in the care they provide to their animals.
“This is a fun run, meaning it will not be timed,” which means the focus is on enjoying the experience and participating, not on achieving a fast time; everyone can run or walk at their own pace without worrying about their finish time. Your time won’t be recorded, so you can walk, jog , or run as you please. The main goal is to have fun and participate, not to compete for the fastest time. Suitable for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced runners.
QC JAVA JOG SWAG
Start your day with an invigorating run or walk, and revel in awesome perks including an optional custom T-shirt, a shiny finisher Medal or Dog Tag, custom race bib, and delicious treat at the end.
This is a Coffee drinkers paradise , Lock in your preferred swag by registering before September 6th, and if you crave a minimalist run / walk just skip the T-shirt during registration. Let’s run / walk for a cause and have a blast with every step!
Cost : Adults 16 years and up $27.50-$44.50 . Kids 5 to 15 years of age $15.50 accompanied by an adult.
Race-day packet pickup will be available 7:30 am – 8:15 am
The run / walk will go on regardless of the weather. In the case of extreme weather, the run may be cancelled or postponed a few hours
Coed / JAVA JOG start times: 5K – 8:30 AM and 2K – 8:30 AM
Arrive 1 hour before your time for check-in and packet pickup .
There will be certain areas where spectators can watch.
