HAZE AND WET WEATHER
1. Will Pokémon RUN 30 Singapore Edition proceed if there is haze or rain?
The event is scheduled for 7 and 8 November 2026. We are monitoring haze forecasts, air quality readings, and weather conditions.
In the interest of participant safety, the organiser may delay, modify, or cancel activities due to adverse conditions. Changes may be made without prior notice. Please check the latest official announcement before traveling.
2. When and where will event-status updates be announced?
Haze-status updates will be issued by SMS and on Tribbe’s official Instagram and Facebook channels at:
- 8pm the day before your registered event day
- 4am on your registered event day
Updates will be sent by SMS and posted on Tribbe’s official Instagram and Facebook channels.
Announcement timings may vary if further assessment is needed, and SMS delivery may be affected by network conditions. If you have not received an SMS, please check our official social media channels for the latest announcement.
Monitoring will continue throughout the event, with further updates if the event status changes. Wet-weather updates will be issued as conditions develop.
3. What happens if there is a thunderstorm or lightning risk?
Affected waves may be cancelled. Some waves may remain scheduled while others are cancelled, depending on conditions.
If you are onsite, follow crew instructions to the designated shelter and wait for further announcements. Please return to the Start pen or enter the course only when instructed.
4. What should I do if conditions worsen while I am already on the course?
Please follow the route marshals’ instructions and the latest onsite announcements. Instructions may differ depending on whether conditions involve haze, rain or lightning.
5. If my wave is cancelled, can I join a later wave or attend the following day?
We can only accommodate participants on their registered event date and in their assigned wave, so switching to another wave or day will not be possible.
Alternative finisher entitlement collection arrangements will be communicated by SMS and through the event’s official social media channels.
6. If one event day is cancelled, will the other day also be cancelled?
Each event day will be assessed separately. Cancellation on 7 November does not automatically mean cancellation on 8 November.
A day cancelled due to haze will remain cancelled even if conditions later improve. Please follow the announcement for your registered event date.
7. If my event day or wave is officially cancelled, can I still collect my entitlements, including the Pokémon RUN Pikachu Promo Card?
Yes. Alternative entitlement collection will be arranged for registered participants whose event day or wave is officially cancelled. This includes the Pokémon RUN Pikachu Promo Card.
Our team will verify your registered date, wave and any items already collected. Each entitlement may be collected once.
8. Where and when will cancellation-related entitlement collection take place?
The official cancellation notice will confirm the collection location, opening hours and instructions. Arrangements may differ between a whole-day cancellation and the cancellation of individual waves.
Please wait for the confirmed collection notice before travelling. If you are already onsite, follow crew directions and remain sheltered until safe access is confirmed.
9. What should I bring for entitlement collection? Will I still need to visit the sticker points?
Please bring your Type Themed Bib and Search Sheet for verification.
For officially cancelled waves, stickers will be issued through the alternative collection process. You will not need to visit the individual sticker points. Crew will direct you through the collection points for your remaining entitlements.
10. What if I am vulnerable to haze and choose not to participate while the event proceeds?
Eligible vulnerable participants may request alternative collection. This includes elderly participants, pregnant women, children and participants with chronic lung and/or heart disease.
Please email pokemonrun30sg@tribbe.co before the event to enquire. Requests are subject to verification, and a doctor’s memo and/or medical certification will be required.
If you are already onsite, bring your bib to the Information Counter at OCBC Square. The team will record your details for follow-up. Alternative collection information will be sent in the week after the event; same-day collection is not guaranteed.
11. Will Pokémon Pop Up Store be open if the event is cancelled?
If an event day is cancelled, the Pokémon Pop-Up Store will remain closed on that day.
12. What happens if it rains in the event of bad weather?
The event organizer reserves the right to delay, cancel or modify the event in the event of adverse weather conditions in the interest of participant safety without prior notice.
