For over 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of being a pediatric nurse. It’s a career that has filled my heart in ways I can’t even describe, but it has also shown me a kind of heartbreak that never leaves you.

Childhood cancer isn’t just a diagnosis to me. It’s the brave little faces I’ve cared for, the tiny hands I’ve held during treatments, the parents I’ve cried with, and the families whose strength has forever changed me. I’ve witnessed unimaginable courage from children who should have only been worried about playing, going to school, and growing up.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart because I’ve seen firsthand how much these kids fight every single day. They deserve every chance at a healthy future, and they deserve a world where more birthdays are celebrated and fewer families have to hear the words, “your child has cancer.”

I’m fundraising because I believe every dollar can make a difference—through research, better treatments, and support for families walking this incredibly difficult journey.
