Help a Local Coach Keep Kids Running

Every week, teachers and volunteer coaches across our community show up to get kids moving.

Some of these school Run/Walk Clubs have more than 100 kids participating — and the coaches running them often have to find the resources themselves for things like water, equipment, lap tracking, medals, awards, and celebrations that keep kids excited about reaching their goals.

That’s where the Florida Striders 1-Mile Fun Run comes in.

Participating school Run/Walk Clubs compete based on student participation, and the money raised is distributed back to those clubs. The coaches can then use those funds where they believe it will make the biggest difference for their kids.

At our Resolution Run, Best Bet generously contributes $1,800 to help support the program, and Florida Striders also contributes funds through races such as Run to the Sun.

Your $5, $10, or $20 donation helps give a local coach more resources to keep kids showing up, setting goals, running another lap, and discovering what they’re capable of.
