Help us raise money

We've organized a team, "Team Steph", in memory of Stephanie Pierce, who passed away in 2008, to raise funds for the new teen room, “Steph’s Place”, in Lighthouse’ new home planned for 2016. The Lighthouse is a registered charity providing peer support – completely free of charge -- for grieving children, youth and their families in the Halton and Peel area. The Lighthouse is a forum for companionship with others learning to cope with the loss of a mother or father, brother or sister. The Lighthouse is currently bursting at the seams so we are moving from our tiny home on Wilson Street to a larger home that will accommodate twice as many families in need, with a dedicated room for teens, where they can shoot some pool, play ping pong, make popcorn, all in the company of peers struggling with similar losses.
