Course Details and Information
ANNOUNCING THE COURSE MAP
The 5 KM route will be one loop. The 10 KM event does two loops of the 5 KM route.
The entire course route will be run through the grounds of the Waterloo Region Museum and the paved bike paths through Homer Watson Park.
Each KM is marked and is clearly visible. Water Stations: 2 on the 5 KM course / 4 on the 10 KM course. Courses are certified distances. Courses are subject to change pending official approval, course certifications, or construction issues.
Time Limit:
The time limit to complete the course is calculated at 10 minutes per kilometer. Starting at the half way mark, if a participant does not reach a km mark by this calculated time, the participant may be required to continue unassisted by race support. Participants are asked to familiarize themselves with the course route if this situation might be a possibility to them.
