Our story…
Since Alyssa's 2 month hospitalization staycation in CHEO 3 years ago, Alyssa's seizures have evolved and increased. Along with these seizures, the anti-epileptic medications she's taking and the side effects, she is unable to enjoy her favorite activities and doesn't experience life as she should be able to. We may see 1 good day out of 30 if we're lucky. We need more research to help children like Alyssa with this debilitating syndrome. Please consider a donation to our Virtual Dravet Walk before Sept. 12, as we respect the physical distancing this year.
