My Story…
As many of you know, my dad died needlessly from mesothelioma just over 5 years ago, two months after walking me down the aisle. While his diagnosis was devastating, it also made my dad become an advocate for mesothelioma awareness, which he was very proud of. He was able to travel to D.C. to advocate against the FACT Act that would ,make it harder for families like ours to seek justice, get his first letter to the editor published, and participate in the Miles for Meso Run & Walk. All of this was made possible because his law firm, Simmons Hanly Conroy, who hosts the Miles for Meso event for the 12th time this year - virtually this year, because of COVID-19.
I'm asking you today to make a small or large donation to support what has become our family's annual tradition, walking in my dad's memory, with Georgie Porgie's Meso Patrol. Your contribution will go directly to supporting mesothelioma awareness, so that no family suffers the same fate.
