Raise money for the Canadian Celiac Association British Columbia!
The Canadian Celiac Association British Columbia (CCA BC) supports people who are affected by celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and other gluten-related conditions in BC. We work closely with our national organization the Canadian Celiac Association and we support national initiatives. The money raised this year will support local initiatives and gathering and disseminating information to educate the public and medical practitioners (including students, nurses, nutritionists, dietitians, dentists and other health service personnel) on the diagnosis, treatment and general management of celiac disease. The money raised will also fund research in Canada, as there is currently no cure for celiac disease. 85% of those with the disease are undiagnosed and it takes an average of 10 to 12 years to be diagnosed.
