My Story…
Arthritis in kids is so much more than just aches and pains, it's fear, anxiety, fevers, rashes, surgeries, injections, missing out, interrupted or lost dreams, and so much more. I believe if only more people knew the truth about what kids and families with arthritis face, then they would want to help too.
So....On June 27th, I'll be walking 30km with the goal of educating 30 people (or more!) that kids get arthritis too. My goal is to raise $1300 to help launch a new Injection Support Program for families who have to learn to give painful injections - at home, on their own - to their young children (can you even imagine????).
The amazing kids, youth and families I've met through Cassie + Friends have brought so much joy and meaning to my life, and it is my honour to be a part of their team. I am hoping you will help me make a difference in their lives by supporting my walk.
