My Story…

Miss Daisy Ash has been diagnosed and living with JIA, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, for about a year now. We started this journey with her being frustrated, cranky and with major swelling in her left knee and left ankle which made it very painful and some days she could barely walk.

A year later, with help of her medications, doing physiotherapy and one joint injection treatment, we are on our way to walking limp and pain free, running like the wind and enjoying the world as a happy little 3 year old.

It took us a while as a family to figure out the best way to care for Daisy and how to support her but we got there with the help from all of her doctors, close friends and family's words of encouragement and reading stories of other families going through the same journey.

So now as a family we committed to making sure there is more awareness and more funding for research for any child living with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
