Help us raise funds for a new ice machine on 5A/B!

The pandemic has been extremely difficult on everyone and the staff on 5A/B have shown us what resilience, flexibility and patient centered care looks like in the midst of uncertainty and adversity.  At the beginning of the pandemic, cardiac medicine and cardiac surgery were combined on 5A and 5B became a medicine unit until our program resumed it's services. Since then, the staff have worked tirelessly to provide highly specialized cardiac care for our Provincial Cardiac/Cardiac Surgery Program despite the effects of the pandemic. 

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 virus caused a prolonged outbreak on 5A/B that seriously impacted our patients and staff. It was a very distressing time for all of us but the courageousness and dedication we saw was everyone was exemplary. 

Let's show a small token of appreciation for the staff and patients on 5A/B by replacing their ice and water machine in the 5B Patient Kitchen.
