North Shore Community Legal Services provides legal information, assistance, legal education workshops, advice and representation to individuals and families facing a variety of legal problems including housing, employment, income assistance, debt, family separation and divorce, wills, and other issues. Our aim is to promote equity and access to justice for all.

Affordable, accessible housing is key to ensuring a diverse and inclusive community. Our North Shore Housing Action Committee is an independent, non-partisan group of volunteers and experts who educate, undertake research, and advocate to increase affordable housing options.

North Shore Democracy Café is a non-partisan program that encourages residents and citizens to actively participate in civic life, to practice taking on leadership roles, and to positively engage in dialogue with government at different levels.

Our North Shore Income Tax Clinic provides tax preparation services for lower income residents, proven anti-poverty initiative.

Our shared aim is to empower people in our community to navigate to a better place in a complex world, creating safe places for dialogue characterized by caring, respect, and fairness.
