My Story…
WHY I RUN?
Running has always given me balance. Working inside all day makes me crave the outdoors after hours. Anywhere I am, all I need are my running shoes and a great playlist to take off! Aside from the obvious physical benefits, running provides an incredible mental escape that cleanses my brain from the everyday stress of life as a father and business owner.
WHY I CHOSE THE YORKVILLE RUN?
When I started running four years ago, I needed a goal to keep me motivated outside of personal fitness. The Constantine Yorkville Run is the biggest community fundraiser in my area, allowing runners to choose which organization to raise money for. I am proud to have personally raised over $40,000 for local groups so far, as well as to involve Over the Rainbow as this year’s race kit sponsor.
WHY I CHOSE SISTEMA TORONTO?
During the pandemic, Sistema Toronto was vital in providing incredible art, music and social programs to underprivileged children despite a drastic reduction in fundraising. All these things are essential in my life, so anything I could do to bring food, instruments and education to those who need it most was the right thing to do!

I am running in support of the kids of Sistema Toronto. Sistema Toronto is a charity that provides free after-school music education for children from disadvantaged and underserved communities across Toronto. These families have been highly impacted by COVID this year, and your support will help ensure that these kids continue to have access to high quality group and individual music lessons each day after school, while making friends and learning important skills like teamwork, empathy and self-advoacy.
