Team McQueen is doing the 25km YANA ride again this year and our goal is $5000!!
Team McQueen knows the receiving end of YANAs contributions, as YANA continues to be a support system for the McQueen Family's very own Blakey Boy (born 15 weeks early and barely a pound of butter in weight > now a thriving 4 year old boy), YANA continues to help with his multiple out of town medical appointments and we are beyond thankful and motivated to give back to a cause that has lifted our family up through Blakey's 4 years of life!
Raising a child truly takes a village, it takes courage to ask for help, & YANA continues to ensure that families in the Comox Valley are not alone when dealing with medical issues for their children or pregnant mothers.
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 1 night stay near Nanaimo Hospital
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$400 = 2 weeks stay at Jeneece Place in Victoria
$1000 = 1 month travel expense funding for a family away from home
