Our story…
As a new YANA family and friends, thank you so much for supporting this charity that helps families like ours!
Since YANA will be helping us through the birth of our first at BC Children's Hospital, we wanted to pay it forward/pay them back by participating in the ride this year.
We'll have a wide variety of riding styles and distances to cover, and would love to show our thanks with a huge team total for our first event this year!
Cameron will be hitting the trails, mountain biking around Cumberland and Mt. Washington to log as many runs as possible
Megan will be accruing the kilometres on a stationary bike
Melissa, at 8-9 months pregnant, will be taking the shorter route cruising around town to meet the hardworking team at a local brewery post-ride!
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 1 night stay near Nanaimo Hospital
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$400 = 2 weeks stay at Jeneece Place in Victoria
$1000 = 1 month travel expense funding for a family away from home
