Setting Up a Team
Setting up a team is easy. The person who sets up the team will automatically become the team captain. Follow these simple instructions.
- The team captain needs to set up the team. The team captain must be registered and entered in the event.
- The team captain clicks Register on the registration page and proceeds to complete their registration.
- When you get to the teams’ options, Click Yes, create a new team and add this registrant, choose the category that best suits your team, add a team name, and answer the remaining questions.
- The team captain completes their registration, including payment. The team is now set up, a team page is created, and others can join.
Your Team Page
Each team gets their own team page that can be distributed to all current and prospective team members. The team captain can modify their page, including writing a personal message and track your team's fundraising.
You can send the team page URL to all people you want to join your team, and they register for the event and your team from the page. You can also send the page to family, friends, and supporters to donate directly to an individual's fundraising.
To access your team's page, follow the instructions under Managing your team.
Managing your Team
As the team captain, you can manage many aspects of your team. This includes;
- Edit the Team name.
- See the members of your team.
- Send a message to all team members.
- Find your team URL and set up your team page.
To do this, please follow these instructions.
- The team will be assigned to the profile of the team captain. Only the team captain can follow these instructions.
- Click Menu on the top right of the race roster registration page and sign in.
- Click Go to My homepage.
- Find the World Vision Australia – 40HF and click View Registration.
- Click on the Team Menu.
- You will now be able to manage your team.
Joining A team
Joining a team is easy. In many cases, the team captain will send you a join link. If this hasn’t happened, you can join the team yourself, but you will require the team name.
- Navigate to the View teams page on the event page.
- Search for the team name.
- Click Join team- this will allow you to register as part of this team.
OR
- Click Register and start your registration.
- When you get to the teams’ options, Click Yes, add this registrant to a team created by someone else.
- Search for your team and select.
- Complete your registration, including payment.
Switching Teams
Made an error and wish to switch teams? Easy, follow these instructions.
- Click Menu on the top right of the Race Roster registration page and sign in.
- Click Go to My homepage.
- Find the World Vision Australia – 40HF and click View Registration.
- Click Switch Team and find the team you wish to join.
Joining a Team after Registering
If you have already registered and wish to add a team to your registration, follow these instructions;
- Click Menu on the top right of the Race Roster registration page and sign in.
- Click Go to My homepage.
- Find the World Vision Australia – 40HF and click View Registration.
- Click Add Team and find the team you wish to join.
