My Story…
I lost my mom to colorectal cancer in 2018. She was 65, full of life and had grand plans for travelling and enjoying her retirement. She wanted to visit London and Rome and enjoy the sea in Croatia. Instead, she went through chemo, radiation, pain and angst. My mom found out about her stage 4 cancer too late. Early colonoscopy screening would have saved her life. Her grandkids miss her every day. I miss her everyday. I am running for my mom and thousands of people out there whose life can and should be saved by awareness and early diagnosis. I am running to support Colorectal Cancer Resource and Action Network and other organizations that have been doing tremendous work to increase awareness, provide support and information about colorectal cancer.
