My Story…
I am very honored and pleased to be once again participating in Bumrun this year on behalf of the Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network (CCRAN). I am championing these efforts to firstly, honor the memory of my father who was afflicted with widespread metastatic disease and secondly, to promote much needed awareness of colon cancer screening, which we know may prevent Canadians from receiving a diagnosis of advanced colon cancer. Colon cancer is the most preventable cancer through screening and yet it continues to be the second leading cause of cancer death in Canada so we have an obligation to ensure we promote much needed awareness and education through events such as Bumrun. Together, we can save lives and have a lot of fun doing it. Won't you help me by spreading the awareness and helping me raise funds for CCRAN's patient programs?
