COURSE MAPS

See HERE for more info on the events courses.
TIMING AND RESULTS
The event will use a timing system.
All participants will have their time recorded by an electronic strip connected to the back of their event number.
You are responsible for ensuring that you wear the event number that has been registered to you.
Please do not mix these up with other participants.
Gun time will be used for official results.
PHOTOS
Photos4sale provides a robust online platform capable of handling large numbers of images. Images are identified by bib numbers (by the human eye for accuracy and flexibility) and then offered for sale directly to athletes.
"We believe in the honesty and judgment of our customers and offer images with no fixed price. Photos4sale customers pay what they want".
Keep a look out for our photographers on course; they will be waiting for you at the Te Matua a Pohe Bridge and as you cross the finish line, so be sure to give them a big smile!
AID STATIONS
Our event participants are well supported with aid stations located on the course for the 8.5km and the Half Marathon. The 4km has access to multiple water fountains around the course and the finish Aid station. All our Aid Stations will provide water, RLine Electrolyte Hydration, and basic first aid. For more information on RLine Electrolyte Hydration, click here. There will be five Aid Stations on the half marathon and one on the 8.5km course, which you pass by twice, as well as water fountains spread around the Hatea Loop.
Please refer to our course maps for Aid Stations, water fountains, and toilet locations
GEAR DROP
Participants will be able to store gear at the start/finish area while out on the course. Gear can be left at the registration tent located at the amphitheater area in Putahi Park
All gear must be clearly labeled with your event number. You will need to present your event number to collect your gear. While all reasonable care is taken of gear, Sport Northland is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Please do not leave valuables.
PRIZEGIVING
Prizegiving will be held at approx 12:00 pm at the Town Basin. We have many spot prizes up for grabs that anyone can win. Just sign up, do the event, tear off your prize tag, which can be found on your bib number and hand it to the volunteers as you cross the finish line. Stick around for prizegiving to see if you are one of the lucky winners. Participants must be present at prize giving and show their event number to claim their prize.
PLACE GETTERS
The top 3 Male and Female from each distance will be acknowledged at the prizegiving.
MEDIA PLAYERS/HEADPHONES
For your safety, the use of MEDIA PLAYERS is discouraged. Should you choose to use a music device during the event, please have the volume at a level that ensures you are aware of your surroundings and other participants.
